I don't find this to be a dealbreaker myself. For a popular book on a controversial topic, I like it when the author argues the case strongly and even overstates it.

Obviously neither do I since the book is already on my Amazon wishlist (thank you for the reference). But I like it even better when the author argues the case strongly but presents some contradictory evidence and doesn't cherry-pick the examples too much. So I will probably end the book thinking I need to read another book on the same topic, which is fine.
