I'd hit twice. For a start it gives White fewer return shots. Leaping White's prime is not so urgent here because your timing is not bad for a priming game and White has only her 6pt and 5pt made. The upside of the double hit is also better. If you play 23/16* then even if you get away with it, you have quite a bit of work to do to consolidate all your blots.
