Best move and why?

I'm fairly confident about this one. I hit on the outside of the prime.

It seems very important to get those back checkers moving. Now, white has plenty of returns, but even when we're hit back, we've taken a static position for blue and made it dynamic. When we're hit back we can recirculate and we haven't lost much. If white doesn't hit back of course, then we've done all the work we needed to do.

The danger with hitting twice is that white anchors too often on the four point. When this happens, our whole blitz grinds to a halt, and we greatly regret that we used a number that could have extricated one of our back checkers to blitz.

Wish I could explain it better, but that's the general tenor of the reasoning.
