Thanks. I asked because I thought 16/15* 10/8 would surely be the best hitting play, so the votes for 10/9*/7 surprised me. I neglected to consider that play.

If there's a better play with the roll than hitting (e.g. anchoring as could be the case with some of these rolls) then I still count it as a hit.

That explains most of the difference. That I can't count explains the rest ;- I'll look at the position now:

14, 24, 34, 44, 13, 23, 33, 43, 22 ... 16, 26, 36, 46 ... for a total of 23.

I'd advance the anchor with 22, 23 and 34, make the 16 point with 36, and not be sure about hitting with 13 and 14.

Can I ask a bot? Ok, of the 23 numbers that could hit, the bot says no hit with 13, 22, 23, 34, 36, leaving 14 numbers that it would hit with.
