So any volunteers to write "Doubling in Backgammon - The Definitive Guide"?

If there's one thing I feel confident about, it's that such a "definitive guide" will never be completed. Wordsworth barely completed The Prelude and never wrote The Recluse. Knuth will be lucky if he finishes Volume 4 of The Art of Computer Programming, let alone the later volumes. Other examples could be easily multiplied.

Still, perhaps a prerequisite for getting some volumes out is to bite off more than you can chew and then see how much you actually get through.

That is otherwise known as my flash drive.

That doesn't count. Even if you made the contents of your flash drive available to the public, it would not be organized, annotated, and explained in a digestible fashion, the way Woolsey's Encyclopedia and Ballard and Weaver's Backgammon Openings are.
