Well, I lost this bet.
I would have played to the twenty, becaus I am ahead in the race and want to escape the last man. I am not afraid about the return shots, because with some of them he has to open his 7 or 8 pt.
But overall, escaping is important, maybe other things have higher priority: the reason for 13/9 is just that I want to make some kind of building play in the next one or two rolls. And this is easier with a spare on the nine, and easier to do when I am not getting attacked.
