Two on the bar, and two on the midpoint, is not quite the same as three on the bar, but it is close.

If we rip the ace, then high doubles play awkwardly next time, to wit, 66 and 55. Otherwise, we can play safely next time.

Were the midpoint checkers already home, I would pull one checker, but here I play safe.

My vote: 8/3, 5/4
