This is between 8/3 1/off and 8/3 5/4. Taking one off should increase gammons and risk a little more future shots, while 5/4 should be safer but win slightly less gammons. Amount of extra gammons should be more than twice as much as amount of extra losses if 1/off is correct. Hard to tell if this is the case when amount of extra gammons/losses are as small as here. I guess that our gammon chances are so high already (due to the two men on our 12), that taking one off now can't increase the chances sufficiently. Any shot will be fatal for several rolls, as XG will double us out. I'll try the safest play.
