I expect that one to be spectacularly close. We bear off more often in 3 rolls when we play 4/2, but that is irrelevant since XG always bear off in 3 rolls. Since we obviously never bear off in 1 roll, it boils down to compute how often we bear off in 2 rolls after each play.
5/3 gains when we roll 44 followed by a non-doublet other than 21, or a 11. That is 1 * 29 = 29 pairs of rolls.
4/2 gains when we roll a non-doublet 2, followed by 44, 55 or 66. That is 10 * 3 = 30 pairs of rolls. It also gains on 55 or 66 followed by 21 : 4 pairs of rolls.
I might have overlooked a difference, but if I did it is more likely to be in favor of 4/2. So that time it is the non-fancy play for me.
5/0 4/2
