42P-44B-32 leading with the chin

Thank you, Nack.
What I wrote in the beginning of my previous post is GENERAL wisdom, which is often, but not always true. THIS RO gives opposite results - it does not confirm what I said. The minor split turned out a winner.
In fact, at DMP the major slpit may again triumph (we see more gammons but less games won for the minor split). Perhaps, the situation where the oponent has a 60:40 GWC needs some stirring. Else she will reach the doubling window without excitement :( and can shoot with the cube after taking precise aim. A mild case of "desperate situation requires desperate measures". More like Magriel's save vs bold - better board, trailing in race and worsening position. All point to the bold slot (although AND split, although minor).
I never thought about this method of calculating expected damage of voluntary blots. Not sure if Robertie had some hint on it in the efficiency chapter of his Moderm Backgammon. XG is very convenient here indeed.
It is intriguing and I will put in the pot another 5k of the Major vs minor case at DMP. Seems that the lack of good 2 after the major split makes it second best, but the retaining a small MWC advantage here may still keep Major split on top at DMP.
