1. Hitting doesn't look right to me when we have a lead in the race and the weaker board. I play 13/8 and then have to decide between 13/11 and 24/22. 13/11 unstacks the midpoint, giving Blue 6 fly shots. 24/22 is thematic in that it prepares to escape when we're ahead in the race, though it puts our straggler in more danger of being attacked. Not sure but I'll try to build some structure before running the back checker. 13/11 13/8.

2. With modest luck, Blue should bear off in 4 rolls, since he can afford one miss. White has 8 checkers and to win she must either bear off in less than 4 rolls or hope that Blue will take 5 or more rolls. Compared to a strict four-roll position, this seems to be worse for White. D/P.

3. The position seems pretty similar to 64S-64X-32H-43H-42 so I think hitting is bad, even though it's DMP and getting a fourth checker sent back might not hurt as much as it does for money. If White's back checker were on the 24pt then her 4's would be duplicated and I think anchoring would be best. Here I'm not sure but I would still try anchoring. Bar/21 24/21.
