Sorry, Neil, but I can't feel sorry for you. You've had a great year, and every year you play is a great year. The choice for the No.1 player of the year is probably determined by how many tournaments you make internationally and how many people know you...there hasn't been a voting in modern times where it would have been a mistake to make you No. 1, and you certainly have earned the right to that honor at least once, in my book. Here's how I look at it...I wouldn't take anyone else in the world against you and give odds.
