L (Lift, 10/3) looks way too passive, though it is probably better than most of the hitting plays. That said, I like A (Attack, 10/4 6/5*); it seems far and away the best use of material.

By extension of the concept Stick discussed in a Gammon Village article, that later found its way into this subthread, X (hit-and-split, 24/18 6/5*) is off limits!

BTW, if the sequence arose as I've captioned it, I think Blue should have played $ (Slot, 13/11 6/5) instead of D (Down, 13/10) last turn; unloading the 6pt was (and continues to be) thematic.
