1. Making the 4pt looks clear here. It makes a four-point board, and a broken five-prime. Anchoring doesn't seem urgent with White's weak board and gammons not counting.
2. Running must be wrong when this far behind in the race, so 13/7 is the 6 and we have to decide whether to anchor or bring another checker down. Anchoring protects us against getting attacked or primed but will probably generate fewer shots. For money I'd anchor and prepare to accept a cube. At DMP I'm not sure. If White points on us with a checker from her 8pt, we have some 6's from the bar that hit back. In any case we have reasonable chances of falling back on a deuce-point game. I guess I'll try 13/10 13/7.
3. 6/5(2) is automatic. Then we can either switch points, make a solid four-prime, or split the back checkers. This is effectively DMP so I think that switching points is devalued relative to making the four-prime. Splitting the back checkers looks reasonable but I'll be Captain Obvious and play 8/7(2).
