Is Morten too weak or too inactive to make your list?

I highly doubt though do not know for sure that Morten is anywhere near inactive over the past two years. I am also not a great person to ask on his absolute strength as I've only seen him play a couple of times. (and nothing recent)

If it is the former, what do you base your evaluation on?

It isn't the former exactly. Everyone who votes for the Giants list seems to have different criteria for the voting. I'm no different.

If you base your opinion on hearsay, whose "hearsay" will you listen to and use in your evaluation of a player?

I won't listen to anyone's hearsay any more. I did when I started playing and all I got was a lot of garbage from people who had no idea. Not on purpose, that's just the way it is. It's just easier now to ignore it all until I have a chance to see it for myself. I don't vote based on PR alone but a low PR certainly will win you favor with me.

I may have told this story on here before and if I did, I apologize for repeating. One night the other month I went to see a show of a friend of a friend. He was a drummer in the band. Saw the show, good time had by all, yada yada yada. After the show on the drive back the two girls I went with kept saying what a good drummer he was. Now, fully realizing that this is why I don't get along with people and why they aren't warm and fuzzy with me I'm like "how the fuck would you know?" The girls had nothing to base what they were saying on, no musical talent, knew nothing about drumming or any other instrument for that matter.

This reminds me of backgammon players in general talking about other backgammon players.
