I saw, that 33 allows White to make the bar point, making our block a little bit toothless, with an easy escaping route for the third man. And giving him 55 with the other move left the straggler alone, ready for attack. So i feared 33 more then 55. And i remembered from "Modern Backgammon", that better connected checkers are generating better connected positions in general. But i didn`t saw, that 33 was turned from the second best move to the worst and a pass. That is amazing. But White has an advanced anchor, so playing on for a gammon is not an option. Cashing now, and no accident on the way to private banking.
