White will rather easily jump out of the white board, and then white remains with a bad timed 4-1 backgame or

a 4-anchor with extra checkers,

against the time that blue enters against the 4-anchor the white front position will probably be crunched.

The 8-point is valuable, it blocks 5's for a possible 3-anchor.

I'll go for the hit and escape:

24x16

3.

Blue has a little wastage because of the lacking 2-point, but white has a little wastage because of the extra crossover.

Blue is ahead 10/81 = 12+ %, this will be about 20% race-chance.

AtS white will probably still take when he has about 10% race chance.

I would wait awhile with blue.
