Mutual Holding games are like bicycle sprint races. Both opponents watching each other, jockeying for position, looking for a good moment to break away for the race. I want to hold the golden point by now. I don't want to activate the brittle, frontloaded position from white. Coming under attack for a little outfield control is for me a little to much payed. Our block is a little better, our board is a little better, we have an anchor for save recirculation. We cannot blitz, but we can create a better moment for going out of the slipstream. And it is a common theme, attacking the guard in such type of positions.
