I have a query about bot symbols. You have used /|\ for gnubg plies, <^> for XG plies and =+& for XGRoller settings.

What will you do if gnubg gets XG-roller type settings? (The command has always existed, but it's not yest been implemented.) Or if BGBlitz or another bot's rollout appears? Or when PCs get faster and we start rolling out at higher plies?

Won't it eventually save space to have a letter for the bot and a number for the ply level? This ought to reduce the number of symbols we have to learn. Isn't a G3 or X4 rollout easier than \ and ^? Surely the 1 extra character is bearable.
