Volatility is sky high. This argues for a double. Gammon chances are also very strong. White's five point board and possibility of a return hit even if hit merits a take. One advantage that Blue has is limited White recube vig. If matters go poorly, White may not have an effective recube. Many recubes would need to be passed. Thus, White may be forced to play on to try to win a gammon if dice are kind.
