It is of utmost importance in this type of position to get the hell out of your opponent's inner board. That's because you don't want to sit and have him pick/cover or flat out point on you (esp. with doublets) where in the best case scenario you have a shot from the bar or you're done. So 21/16 is a no brainer.

Now we only have to chose between 14/10 and 5/1. I certainly don't want to bust my 5 point board when it may come in handy immediately. The duplication of fours is certainly nice too.
