Position 1. Blue still has work to do even White misses her 15 shots. I play 8/2 and let White move - the 16 point or the prime are set to go.

Position 2. Only 13 shots this time, and White's position is not going to deteriorate before Blue is forces off the midpoint. If White misses, Blue is almost home. It's time to pay now with 13/8 13/10.

Position 3. 16/6 offers 18 shots, and the last man is still a long way from home, so there might be more. I'd clear the 8 point and hope to fiddle around in my home board until White has moved off at least one of her rear points. Who knows, it may be me who gets the shot!
