I am inexpert in browser technology. As you say, add-ins are a significant issue. Running Vista on one machine and Win7 on another, I resisted upgrading to IE9 for months, but finally made the jump. Automatic bill-pay on my bank’s website stopped working immediately on the machine running Win7! The fix was easy. It was a compatibility-settings issue. Perhaps others here can give advise regarding IE9 and its competitors. In particular, we are interested to know about Unicode compatibility and fonts. Mike
