If you mean that they will connect via the same route to get to the destination, it is likely - yes. I say "Likely" because there are some situations where this isn't the case, but wouldn't apply here. On big sites like Google a DNS request can return back a different IP address (a form of load balancing). This IP address can be cached in the browser for a period of time, and can theoretically be different between browsers. DNS caching within the browser was one reason I considered the cache clearing instructions.
Another scenario is where your ISP has multiple connections to the internet backbone. It is possible that one web request goes one route, and the next request can go another depending on internet usage patterns in your area. Again this isn't likely. If this was happening and one route was bad you'd likely see connection issues in both browsers and they would be intermittent.
