I am surprised you can't see any reasons why someone might want to turn off automatic forced moves. If someone uses online play as practice for live play it better simulates live play. A couple issues related to this are
i) If playing with a clock someone may choose to think about the position (for example the upcoming cube) during the delay time.
ii) It can be disconcerting to suddenly have a drastically different position appear. For example what if I wanted to practice keeping a running pipcount?
I'm fine with all of those for clocked matches. If the match is clocked, you can do anything you want on your time. You can go take a leak, you can write down/photograph the position, you can order a sandwich, you can update your running pipcount, you can order something off of Amazon, or you can go take another leak. For unclocked matches (which is the majority of online play), dithering over forced moves is laaaaaaaaaaame.
