Many readers coming upon this thread from two years ago will remember that the position discussed here was proven not be at T4 or R4. It is not a position where a different play is best at each of the four scores: unlimited (i.e, money), DMP (double match point), GG (gammon go) and GS (gammon save).

Timothy Chow posted a rollout showing that the best money play matches the best DMP play. Nack and other discuss the position at length in the follow-up posts in Tim’s thread.

Happily, Nack soon discovered and published a new position which is now believed to be an R4.
