The first two problems are useful for me because I still don't have a good feel for when it's right, with an advantageous position at 2a3a (or 2a4a), to go for a gammon.

1. For example, this looks to me like a case where we should anchor up. I'd play @ rather than K.

2. Similarly, here I'd play P rather than N.

3. The banana split is the only tempo play, but bar/24 13/8 deserves consideration, as does bar/20 8/7. Not at all sure about this one but I'll try bar/24 13/8 because the banana split seems to give White too many hitting rolls and puts all our eggs in one basket.
