We were hoping to get it recorded but it was not. About half the time was spent with us playing against the bot with liberal breaks for math lessons as different things came up.

http://www.bkgm.com/articles/Koca/bgtalkpaper2.html has some of the ideas we talked about.

Some other topics included

i) mean, median and mode number of rolls to get off the bar and why that meant we knew it was right to pick and pass instead of leaving the 6 point slotted when he had 3 on the roof. ii) 25% criterion for taking along with cube power and gammon prices. iii) Some bearoff paradoxes iv) Bill Davis' prime puzzle v) Some OTB estimation techniques.

We could easily have done a third two hour session. We had variance reduction, a really cool bearoff paradox I discovered and can explain (will have to wait for that), a setup for immediate doubles or not position, and 7N +1 rule ready to go but omitted them when we ran out of time.
