As for unlimited sessions,
It seems few people are inclined to play a long session of "bad" backgammon to see what happens. A shorter test of a playing strength would be this:
(1) Play a few partial games with the sole intention of getting all your checkers sent back. How easy is that? What do the positions look like with all your checkers back against an incoming prime?
(2) Now, skip ahead and adjust a position: (a) take zero to three opposing checkers off the board, (b) put one opposing checker on the bar, (c) give yourself a very incomplete prime -- your checkers will be split between the ones still back and the ones in the incomplete prime in your opponent's outfield, (d) redouble the bot. Does the bot redouble?
