1. 8/3*/1 is tempting, but gammons are worth next to nothing ATS. I think we have to play 6/4, and then 6/1 seems better than 13/8.

2. Way behind in the race with White's stacks staring us in the face, I don't think we should touch the back checkers. Magriel says we can be somewhat bold here, so I start with 8/5 and then ponder whether 11/7 is overdoing it. It seems too loose so I'll try 13/9 8/5.

3. We can make the bar point, or run with 24/18 14/13, or play it safe with 24/23 14/8. Even though it's effectively DMP, I think we have to respect White's board, so I won't make the bar. Between the other two plays I'm not sure, but 24/23 14/8 looks more flexible so that's what I'll play.
