Go ahead, pick a nit, unless that it an improper thing to do (what is a 'nit'?).

You are correct, 1-5 backgames are really poor, an acepoint game basically with more checkers back so you lose more gammons. It is better as a holding game. 1-4 has more backgame prospects and 1-5, that is for sure.
