Note the score and the position of the cube, we benefit from gammonish positions and still have the possibility to offer White a dead cube.

Make the ace, because at this score it is not even clear with which 3s White would chose to hit, and you might get the cube if you hit. White also needs to move, so a 5-point board is worth a lot if we hit during the upcoming rolls.

Lifting the 7 is more attractive for money, but even then I'd make the ace.
