(1)hitting white on the 24 point makes him a favourite to come in on our 4 point board...when this happens (at double match point), his timing allows him to maximise his counter prime opportunities taking any risk neccessary to achieve this without fear of gammons....so i play bar-20 3-2* (2)white has the stronger home board and two men back, making our 5 point gives us the advantage in all areas, making our 5 point also makes it more dangerous for white to split at the back...i play 10-5 6-5 (3)white has six men off and blue still has 46 pips to get off the gammon....looking sad for blue, i like playing 15-9 which adds to blues gammon saving potential by increasing his shot equity when running doesnt look to help as much
