When you reraised on the turn I'd have rereraised if I were him. There's a risk that that "bg guy" was bluffing thinking that castelo was himself trying to steal, but I'd be more likely to put him on a 7. If bg was bluffing odds are that castelo wasn't going to get any more out of him anyway.

LHE is not my game though, I'm one of those who plays almost always NLHE, although I used to play a bunch of O8 and Razz.
