thanks Timothy. It is clear now, and being as a giant does not mean he/she is the best player. I am sure many good players play below 4 but world doesnt know them bec. they dont enter many tournaments. Finally giants list is the not best players list, just a respect list to both playing level, character etc.

I use XG at the work, since I all spend my day at work, so I only use XG for positions, problems at this forum. The comp. is 3.07 Ghz (x2) but 940.210 pos/s below than yours. So RO takes too much time when I tried. I use after all XG++ which is also strong enough. When I have enough money, I will buy a i5, i7 laptop for myself and use at home in the evening or when travelling.

At XG in options, main settings tab, what is the outplay? (0.010) Should I decrease or increase it? and how should I use the analysis for outplay? RO, XG++ ? in analysis tab.

In the analysis tab, which setting do you prefer Stick? 1st pass, 2nd pass what do they mean? I use XGroller+ for checker and 5ply for cube, is this strong and enough? for 2nd pass, I use 5ply if different and XG++ for error, blunder.

In the search interval, which one should be used? I use normal (4 moves..) is it effect the speed?

these questions are enough for now, since program is new for me and I try to understand all of it, needs much time.
