Many thanks for your kind words of support Phil.

One of the primary motivations for making the London Open free to enter and play in is that it removes the association with 'gambling' in the mind of sponsors and the media.

Of course there is the Professionals' Tournament for £250 and there will be optional pools in both tournaments - so people will have the opportunity to gamble if they want to.

Hopefully the unraked £16,000 potential prize money in the Pro Tournament will attract a Giant or two. We currently have two top 32 giants and two top 64 giants signed up so we have made a good start. There are 28 players in total already signed up to the Pro Tournament and we are very hopeful of a full 64.
