How do you compare to the Giants?

In Response To: How do you compare to the Giants? (Timothy Chow)

I think it's not about slotting the bar, it's about which point to clear.

In both cases, I'd clear the point that already has a lower 6-point-apart counterpart.
In both cases I wouldn't clear the midpoint in order to maintain contact with the opponent's midpoint.
