In Response To: Opening 32-g — Conflicting GnuBg nacbracs — Clarification requested (Nack Ballard)

Thanks, Nack, for giving your clarification. It was, of course, a very small discrepency to begin with.

Sometimes I feel silly even asking about this sort of thing. I apologize if I come across as compulsively interested with “catching” these insignificant errors. That is not my motive. My only reason for getting them resolved is so that I can post accurate data in the small database of rollouts that I am building.

Look at it this way: having discovered a discrepency, I could just flip a coin, and post the version of my choice to the database... or I could ask for help.

Thanks again.

Mike

P.S. I am glad that you are now reporting individual nacbracs. It is not that I mind the aggregates — I don’t — it’s just that I would also like to know the source of each component in an aggregate. You see, I am not just collecting nacbracs. I am also creating a strong audit trail that allows me to track the source of a rollout or aggregate whenever possible. That is why I like it so much when you give a nacbrac, and then link to corresponding rollout.
