If I saw it, and I actually might have, then I definitely could bring myself to play the wild and crazy 6/2*/1*. White's backgame timing is awesome here, and entering on either the 1 or 2 is horrible for blue.

I think blue has more than enough covers to remake the 6pt, even in a hitting contest. If blue is hit on the 1 or 2 and white makes the backgame anyway, then white has lost a decent amount of timing by hitting blue, making it worth it.

The real threat here is that white makes the 6pt (serious pain buddy), but I actually think this is outweighed by the serious pain from a fabulously timed backgame with a great backgame structure for white.

Finally, imagine all the oooooh's and aaaaaah's you'd get playing this move live with an audience! You might get some gasps and snickers as well, not to mention some chouette action later....
