I am not sure why you even considering any play except 22, 5. Sure he may make a point on your head, but would you feel much better if you stayed back and he simply made 3pt? From 22 pt you migh turn this game into a race, not a good one, but better than staying on 24 pt. From 22 pt you may hit an indirect shot as he comes around or hit a direct shot as he tres to hit lose on 22pt. In short, staying back you doomed, but stepping up brings some hope.
