Difficult. The score may make a difference here. I'm a bit more willing to break anchor when White's gammon value is diminished. So 22/17 is what I would play. 18/14 3/2 or 18/13 seems to give White too many rolls to hop her straggler over our outfield checker. Yet another possibility is 6/2 3/2, which might be what I'd play for money. I don't like playing 24/20 for the 4 because that makes it too easy for White to play 3's and 5's safely.
