Hi Marv and Stick,

Thanks for this post Marv, I have received a few requests today from people who want to be listed and they are filling out the form and sending it to me with a photo - instructions on how you can have your very own page on www.ibgdb.com are at this link: http://www.ibgdb.com/how_to_get_listed_on_ibgdb.htm

The only requirement is that you have played in a live tournament at least once, any level, anywhere in the world.

You can download the Word document to fill out by clicking on the following link - warning! - you'll get a popup asking you if you want to save the document, so don't get scared, it is not a virus, just a Word document: http://www.ibgdb.com/IBGDB.com_Profile_Questionnaire.doc

After you fill out the document please send it to michael.strato@gmail.com and I will create and publish your page, usually with 48 hours.

The site has existed for many years now, maybe even before Facebook existed, or at least before Facebook became popular - so it is not like I stole the idea from somewhere.

The lists of tournament players have not been updated for years, but I am pretty sure it says somewhere that if your name is not on the list, just tell us and we'll add it. Nevertheless, I intend to update the list soon. Meanwhile, the players that are listed are here, by letter of the alphabet: http://www.ibgdb.com/backgammon_players_lists.htm

Stick, you were not on the list, I guess that's because I never found your name in any of the results - LOL - sorry man, just joking :-)

If anyone has a suggestion to improve the site, or perhaps add questions to the Questionnaire, I am all ears.

You can see all the players that currently have a page on IBGDB at this link: http://www.ibgdb.com/new_profiles.htm there's a lot of interesting stuff to read about players, and some of it is quite funny.
