I don't know if I would play this at a normal score but bar/24 6/5 8/7(2) is my first instinct. When I try to reason out why I like this play I see my opponent is stripped and is probably going to leave some blots, and I would really like to win a gammon here. But winning a g with my opponent anchored where he is won't be easy so maybe I can get him off his anchor, if I don't maybe he will leave me lots-o-blots when I virtually 6 prime him. Another reason I like this play is the safe moves don't look like they do much. There is the ugly bar/23 6/5(2), the not as ugly 8/7(3), and slotting the 7 rather then the 8. I like the 8 because the 5's that probably play down from the mid would only leave me one blot to get an indirect at but the 4's that might play down off the mid leave me two indirects. Also, leaving our blot on our opponents ace seems better then the duece.
