For money, the two plays are very close. An old Snowie rollout, though without a live cube, is [S R5] ~7. A longer GnuBG rollout (with live cube) is [R S14] /10. I have no XG rollout yet but believe that R will win small.

At 𤪘, therefore, I assume that S (Split, 24/18 13/8) is the better play. Blue should be much more aggressive (seek complications) at that score.
