Now I realize what you are looking for, gnubg_ts.bd, which is a 2-sided 6x8. You can definitely generate it from the command line, however, all I can find for download are:

2-sided 6x6: ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/gnubg/gnubg_ts0.bd.gz

and

1-sided 6x15: ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/gnubg/gnubg_os0.bd.gz
