1. With ten checkers in the zone and a three-point board, and White having a somewhat awkward front position including another blot that we might pick up, I think this has to be a double. But I think White can take. The race is even, Blue's hitting and point-making rolls are somewhat duplicated, White's checker on the 24pt gives her good anchoring chances, and Blue's back checkers are unsplit. D/T.

2. The obvious move is to clear the 10pt, but making the 1pt is an option. It should increase our gammon wins somewhat, and it also makes it a little harder for White to race her checkers around. But the awkwardness cuts both ways; some of our aces next roll are unpleasant. I'll go with the obvious 10/8 10/5.

3. Leading in the match with a 2-cube, we should be cautious about cubing in gammonish positions, but this position isn't very gammonish. White's main hope is to escape and win the race; she might also hit a shot. For money I think I would drop but ATS I think it's D/T.
