In my case I was traveling with poor Internet connection, otherwise I'd have had a go at it. Stick's explanation is very good one thing to add, Blue currently has a better board and is therefore not afraid of tactical variations. Another factor, Blue is much ahead in the race, making sitting behind a broken prime even less attractive.

In general, sitting on a 22-point anchor while much ahead in the race, and with a better board, is very often not a good idea.
