53P-21S-65 and 53P-41S-65

First two are XG1 rollouts. Second two are XG2. Running is correct in both positions. It appears that split is closer decision against 11pt builder.

I also rolled out 42P-41S-65 and 42P-21S-65. Rather than posting them here I will start another thread.

The 42 variants should be interesting. I wonder if there are any general principals that can be identified. Your fine analysis of the positions in this thread already mentions a few.

How do you post side by side diagrams?

You can put the board diagram on the left, and the rollout data on the right, by following these steps.

  1. Open the XG “Export Position to Clipboard” dialog box.
  2. Find the drop-down list with the title “Board position.”
  3. The default setting is “Above.” Change it to “On the left.”
  4. Fill in the rest of the dialog box as you normally do.

I like to use the HTML horizontal rule to separate rollouts. You can enter one with the hr tag:

<hr />

Don’t forget to put a space after the letters “hr.”

...splitting play has a different reason behind it here [in 53P-44B-65] than in 31P-21S-65, 31P-53P-65 and 31P-55P-65.
