Dmitriy: splitting play has a different reason behind it here [in 53P-44B-65] than in 31P-21S-65, 31P-53P-65 and 31P-55P-65.
Mike: The foregoing is from your initial message in this thread. Would you please elaborate more on the differences? Thanks.
There are many similarities[stay connected, bring a spare down to 8pt, exchange of hits, etc] ,but the way I see it in 31P-xxx-65 positions the big idea behind the split is to prime the other player in while he has two [or more if there is exchange of hits] checkers back. In 53P-44B-65 priming plan is not an option, so he splits in order to fight for an advanced anchor himself. If making an anchor don't work, maybe he will hit something back gaining ground in the race [he already up in the race in 31P-xxS-65 positions, not the case in 53P-44B-65] or at least use 18pt checker as a distraction.
Dmitriy: How do you post side by side diagrams?
Mike: You can put the board diagram on the left, and the rollout data on the right, by following these steps...
I am not asking how to post RO data next to diagram. I am asking how to post two or more diagrams side by side. Like Nack does it.
