Yes, I played 14/5 6/3. I thought it was worthwhile to hold the midpoint as long as While held his. And I thought that it was ok to leave a blot on my 5 point since White has a blot in his homeboard and, after the move, I outboard him 4 to 2. What I need to understand is why giving up the mid now wins more games.
